How to Install AOSP Extended Android Pie Custom ROM on Lenovo A6000/Plus
For installing Android 9 Pie AOSP Extended Custom ROM on your phone, you need to install TWRP Custom Recovery first. Then flash AOSP Extended Android P Custom ROM using TWRP Custom Recovery. To install this ROM on Lenovo A6000 or A6000 Plus smartphone, you must use latest versions of TWRP Recovery and GAPPS.

Open GAPPS for Pie:
Open http://opengapps.org/ in your browser and select following settings – Platform: ARM, Android: 9.0, Variant: Pico. Now click on Download button to download selected version of GAPPS for AEX 6.1 Android Pie Custom ROM.
Steps to Install AOSP Extended Android Pie Custom ROM:
- First install TWRP 3.2.2 recovery on your Lenovo A6000 or A6000 Plus smartphone. You can check this tutorial on how to install TWRP Recovery on Lenovo A6000/Plus.
- Reboot your phone to TWRP recovery. Tap on Install button on TWRP Recovery home page.
- Browse to AOSP Extended Android Pie ROM and install it.
- Tap on Install again and flash Open GAPPS package.
- Clear Cache and Reboot. First boot may take some time.
