How to Set Gmail as Default Mail App on iPhone (iOS 14 and Newer)
The three famous features introduced in iOS 14 are the ability to change the default browser, set custom charging animation, and change the default mail app. It means you can set Gmail as your default mail app on your iPhone (running iOS 14 or newer). So, the next time you tap on an email link on your iPhone, it will open in the Gmail app by default.
Just like changing the default web browser, changing the default mail app is also straightforward. The only thing you need to take care of is to update your iPhone to iOS 14 or iOS 15 and Gmail app to the latest version.
