How to Check Battery Health on OnePlus Phones
Just like Apple, OnePlus also has the Battery Health feature for its phones. This feature allows the users to check battery health on their Phones and know when to replace the battery.
This useful feature sadly is not available on most Android devices natively. Thankfully, OnePlus has already released this feature for its smartphones. While Google is yet to release this feature.
In this tutorial, we will show you how you can check battery health on your OnePlus smartphone.

Checking the Battery Health of your OnePlus Phone
In this tutorial, we will be using the OnePlus Diagnostic app to check the battery health of the OnePlus smartphone. This app comes pre-installed on new OnePlus devices. But if you are running an older OnePlus device, you will have to install it manually.
So, if the OnePlus Diagnostic app is installed on your phone, you can skip to Step 3. Now, let’s get started with the steps.
Step 1: Download OnePlus Diagnostic App
The OnePlus Diagnostic app is not available on the Play Store. So, you have to download it from APKMirror. You can click here to download the APK.
Step 2: Install the OnePlus Diagnostic App
Once, the app (APK file) has been downloaded, tap on the APK to start the installation. Confirm its installation when prompted. We will use this app to check the battery health of your OnePlus phone.
NOTE: For installing APK from the browser, you will have to enable ‘allow installation from unknown sources‘ on your phone. Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > Special app access > Install unknown apps, and enable the feature for the browser that you used to download the APK file.
Step 3: Check the Battery Health of your OnePlus Phone
It’s time to check your OnePlus Phone’s battery health. After installing, launch the OnePlus Diagnostic app. Tap on the VIEW BATTERY STATUS option under “Battery Capacity”.
Here, you can see your phone’s battery’s health under the “Battery state“.

Check Battery Health and Know When to Replace it
Replacing the battery at the right time keeps your device running in good health. OnePlus has done a great job by introducing this feature. By checking the battery’s health, you will know when it’s time to replace the battery on your OnePlus device.
If the battery status is showing healthy or normal (above 80% capacity), you don’t need to replace your battery. But when it shows poor (below 75%), you should consider changing the battery.
The OnePlus Diagnostic app works on all the OnePlus smartphones running Android 6.0 or above. This means it will work on all the OnePlus smartphones starting OnePlus 3 and above.
