Quick Heal Trial Reset – Reinstall Quick Heal Trial 2023
It is not easy to install Quick Heal trial version again as the setup detects previous installation and exits the installation with error message. So, in order to reinstall Quick Heal trial on your PC, you must perform Quick Heal trial reset using trial resetter method described in this tutorial.
So, when you try to reinstall Quick Heal trial by first uninstalling it from Control Panel, it gives an error saying that “You have already used Quick Heal Trial version on this system, Click Purchase to buy commercial license.”
Even if you try to uninstall it using any third party uninstaller, it still gives the same error. So, if you still want to reinstall Quick Heal trial version, you have to completely remove Quick Heal from your system first.
Quick Heal itself used to provide a small utility to uninstall Quick Heal antivirus completely from your system. It is called Quick Heal Removal Tool or
avremove. We can use this for trial reset on older versions of Quick Heal.
NOTE: Quick Heal 2020 (version 19) and newer can’t be removed by using older avremove tool. And Quick Heal has not released avremove tool for Quick Heal v19 and newer either. We will use another Quick Heal trial resetter method for the latest version. It may work for older versions as well.

A) How to Reinstall Quick Heal 2020 (V19) and Newer Versions Trial?
Quick Heal has discontinued
avremove tool after version 18. And you can’t uninstall Quick Heal 2020 (version 19) completely by using any of older
avremove tools. Follow these steps for resetting the trial of Quick Heal 2020 (Version 19).
Step 1: Uninstall Trial and Download Full Version of Quick Heal
- First of all, uninstall Quick Heal 2020 trial from Control Panel. You can also uninstall it using Command Prompt.
- Now, install full version of Quick Heal 2020 antivirus (Don’t worry, no need of activation, just install). You can get full version of Quick Heal from the link shown below. Open the link, click on Products tab and download required Quick Heal variant. (This link may only work for Indian users others may use VPN)

Step 2: Run Quick Heal Setup Downloader
Run the downloaded file. It will download actual Quick Heal setup. Download it to some directory on desktop for convenience.
Step 3: Install Full Version of Quick Heal
Run Quick Heal setup and install Quick Heal full version. Click on Yes if you see UAC Prompt. Just follow on screen instructions.
After successful installation, click on Register Later to exit installation wizard.
Step 4: Uninstall Quick Heal Full Version for Quick Heal Trial Reset
Now, go to Control Panel and uninstall recently installed Quick Heal full version.
If uninstallation fails, simply restart your PC and try again. Uninstalling full version of Quick Heal will remove traces of the trial version which was installed earlier and hence act as Quick Heal Trial Resetter.
Restart your PC after uninstallation is successful.
Step 5: Download and Install Quick Heal Trial Again
Now, you can install the Quick Heal trial version again without any problems.
After you install Quick Heal 2020 (v19) trial, register with different email ID.
You have successfully performed Quick Heal trial reset. You can now enjoy Quick Heal trial for one more month.
B) How to Reinstall Quick Heal Trial (Older Versions)?
Let’s see the process for older versions of Quick Heal antivirus using
Step 1: Uninstall Trial Version from Control Panel
First uninstall Quick Heal trial version using “Add or Remove Program” applet in Control panel.
Restart your system after un-installation is complete.
Step 2: Run Quick Heal Removal Tool
Now, if you try to reinstall Quick Heal antivirus, it will give you following error –
Now, we need Quick Heal Removal Tool. This
avremove tool acts as Quick Heal trial resetter to remove stale Quick Heal registry entries. Download the Quick Heal Removal tool for the version you have installed. Download links have been provided at the end of the post.
Run the downloaded
avremove file to remove Quick Heal completely from your system. Press Yes if it asks for confirmation.
You will see a success message after successful removal of Quick Heal antivirus.
Step 3: Reinstall Quick Heal Trial
Now Quick Heal has been completely removed from your system. You can reinstall the trial version again and use it for one more month. Follow on-screen instructions for installation.
Step 4: Register with New Email Address
Now you can register Quick Heal online using different email account and use trial version for one more month.
C) Download Quick Heal Removal (or Trial Resetter) Tool
You can download Quick Heal Removal Tool from the link provided below. Select download according to the version of Quick Heal you have installed.
You can check your Quick Heal version using following steps:
- Open up the Quick Heal Internet Security or Quick Heal Antivirus.
- Click on the Help menu and click on about. Here you can see the version of your Quick Heal product.

5. On Home Page it shows (Free Trial is not activated)

it doesnt go to that email address writing page..
Looks like Quick Heal has updated it’s programs to leave more traces in the system. I would suggest you to try third party uninstaller (like Revo Uninstaller) to delete remaining registry traces and reinstall quick heal again.

Sorry to hear that Ben, looks like you are using the same email account to register Quick Heal trial again. Please use different email account. If that is not the case, it will be a good idea if you can explain little more about what steps you have followed.
