How to Transfer Your Photos and Videos from Facebook to Google Photos

So, in this tutorial, we will show you how to transfer your Facebook photos and videos to Google Photos using the Facebook app and Facebook web. Just follow these steps.
A) Copy Facebook Photos and Videos to Google Photos using Facebook App
We are starting with the Facebook app method first. Just follow these steps.
Step 1: Open the Facebook App and Go to Settings
First of all, launch the Facebook app on your phone and tap on the hamburger menu. After that, scroll down and tap on Settings & Privacy. Then tap on Settings below that.
Step 2: Select “Transfer a Copy of Your Information”
Now scroll down to Your Information section and tap on Transfer a Copy of Your Information. On the next screen, you will see the list of common destinations for transferring your photos and videos. So, tap on Next to continue to select your desired destination.

Step 3: Select Destination and your Photos & Videos to Transfer
Now, you will see the list of destinations to choose from. Since we are transferring Facebook photos and videos to Google Photos, so we have selected Google Photos.
After that, choose which Facebook photos and videos you want to transfer to Google Photos. We have selected all photos and videos, you can make your selection. Tap on Next when done.

Step 4: Connect your Google Photos Account
Now, you will have to connect your Google Photos account with Facebook to allow the transfer. So, tap on the Connect button, sign in to your Google Photos account, and allow Facebook permission to add data to your Google Photos.
Step 5: Start Transferring your Facebook Photos and Videos to Google Photos
Finally, tap on the Confirm transfer button to initiate the transfer process. You might be prompted to enter your Facebook password, so enter your password and tap CONTINUE.
Your Facebook photos and videos will start copying to Google Photos. You can see the progress on the Transfer Your Information page. Besides that, you can also stop the transfer of Facebook photos and videos to Google Photos by tapping on the Stop button.

B) Transfer Facebook Photos and Videos to Google Photos using Facebook Web
Besides the Facebook app, you can also transfer your photos and videos using the Facebook website. Just log in to your Facebook account in a web browser on your PC and follow these steps.
Step 1: Open Facebook and Go to Settings
First of all, go to facebook.com on a web browser on your PC and log into your Facebook account. After that, click on the down-arrow menu button at the top-right corner and click on Settings & Privacy. Now, click on Settings to open the Facebook settings page.
Step 2: Select “Transfer a Copy of Your Information”
Now, select Your Facebook Information from the left pane and then click on Transfer a Copy of Your Information from the right pane.
Now, click on Next to begin the process and move to the next steps.
Step 3: Choose the Destination for your Photos and Videos
After that, it’s time to choose the destination to transfer your Facebook photos and videos. So, click on the Choose Destination button.
Select Google Photos from the list of available destinations. You may also select any other destination if you wish.
Step 4: Select your Photos and Videos to Transfer
Now, it’s time to select which photos and videos you wish to transfer. So, select your desired photos and videos or you can select all photos and videos. Once, you are done, click Next.
Step 5: Connect your Google Photos Account
Now, it’s time to connect your Google Photos account and give Facebook the required permissions. So, click the Connect button to continue.
After that, log into your Google Photos account and allow Facebook to add photos and videos to Google Photos.
Step 6: Start Transfer of Photos and Videos to Google Photos
Finally, click the Start transfer button to start the transfer of Facebook photos and videos to Google Photos.
You will be prompted to enter your Facebook password. So, enter your Facebook password to continue.
After that, the transfer process will start. It may take some time depending upon the photos and videos uploaded to your Facebook profile. After the successful transfer of photos and videos from Facebook to Google Photos is completed, you will get a confirmation mail from Facebook.
